The 2019 TWTS Leadership Retreat was a phenomenal success!

There is nothing like taking time away from the press of life, school, and career.  The TWTS Leadership retreat gives students and mentors time to consider the full features a servant leader of integrity needs to succeed.  The rich content and career development training was conducted in a pleasant and enjoyable live/learn environment.

Students from the University of Arkansas, the University of Texas-Dallas, Southern Methodist University and other international students and interested individuals gathered to interact with, and receive from, corporate professionals, highly qualified teaching professors, while networking and getting to know their peers from around the world.

A fun fact - among the 65 retreat participants 17 languages could be spoken.

The first session presentation by Craig Holt, a business development consultant, was definitely one of the highlights of the TWTS Leadership Retreat. Students and mentors gathered in groups and practiced the skills related to how successful leaders must learn to positively deal with conflict and to leverage failure toward success. This enables them to serve others and effectively add value to them, while maintaining healthy personal perspectives.

Many students were greatly encouraged as small groups gathered to share life stories and their hopes and dreams for their futures.
